A quick update and a few pictures...

Scott is 17 months old today and is soooo much fun!  He continues to learn and do new things all the time which is such a joy to watch.  Lately, when Jon gets home from work, he's been asking me if I have any funny Scott stories.  I have no trouble finding a least a few things from the day that made me laugh (even if my laughter had to be hidden from Scott at the time).  I have been slacking on my picture taking these last few weeks, but here are a few...

I had a doctor's appointment today, and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat again.  Everything seems to be going well.  I have certainly been more sick with this pregnancy...all day "morning" sickness and frequent vomiting have been the name of the game this time around.  I keep reminding myself that God is growing a baby inside of me and that makes it worth it.  Jon thinks we are having a girl since, "things are already more complicated."  We can honestly say though that we will be happy with either a little boy or girl.  We will find out the gender around the end of December and cannot wait!  My official due date is May 26th.

Until next time, I leave you with a Scott on-demand smile.  Perhaps I need to stick with the candid shots for awhile longer...

Lindsey, I did not realize you were sick! You should have said something. When can I bring you a meal?

Scott is so stinkin' adorable!!! I love his pictures - and that "on demand" smile is hysterical! I love that age - it's so neat to see them discovering the world and learning to communicate (and be naughty sometimes too... ) I'm sorry you're feeling so sick!! That must be tough with also trying to keep up with an active boy!! I was sicker with my boys than with Ellie, and I remember at times during Ethan's pregnancy having to really fight the discouragement of feeling ill all the time. Reminding yourself that the end result is more than worth it is certainly a good perspective. Oh, man...I miss you. Love you, girl!
